Why learn Spanish?
The Spanish speaking world is growing both in size and influence. There's more than 600 million speakers worldwide, with 20 countries having it as their official language, and it's 1 of the 6 official languages of the United Nations. With this in mind, there's a pretty good chance you live somewhere that has a growing hispanic community, or that you live close to one of the Spanish speaking countries. This means if you are unable to understand Spanish, you'll be missing out on making friends, finding partners, getting jobs, conducting business deals, experiencing tourism at it's fullest and Spanish media like movies, music and literature.

FAQ's
This depends on your pace and consistency. Assuming you do your cards every day, you can expect the following time frames depending on how many new cards per day you learn:
• 20 cards/day = 1 year & 6 months
• 40 cards/day = 8 months
Going over 40 new cards per day is not recommended. Review cards can stack up, and the required time per day can go up. Additionally, more motivation will be required. Meanwhile 20 a day can be a fun, easy and addictive to learn, and 40 is a more intense but still manageable option.
You'll be learning enough vocabulary, phrases and training your ear enough to be able to read, write, listen and talk with natives at a comfortable level. Once you're done, it's a very good idea to continue immersing yourself in the language and studying it. Once you understand its building blocks, i.e. words, Spanish is a very easy language to understand and use.
While it is not the main focus of this product, a quick introductory grammar guide is included that contains sentence structure, gendering, pluralization, conjugations, accents ("tildes" like á), etc so that you can get familiar with how Spanish works on a technical level before diving into the vocabulary / phrases, that can also be used as reference during your learning. However it is not a comprehensive list of all irregular verbs, grammar/spelling rules, exceptions and so on.

No, the deck does not contain curse words or profanity. However, when interacting and talking to native speakers sooner or later you will encounter this type of language. Which is why it's a good idea to research these on your own, if for no other reason than to avoid using them yourself and recognizing when they're being said.
Yes, this can be a great supplement with any other language learning method, specially traditional classroom type lessons. Just make sure you don't get overwhelmed as it's very important that you do your cards everyday, if you miss a day those cards carry over to the next day and accumulate inside Anki.
Yes, it is the same language in all hispanic countries and this program contains words for both. You might find certain accents harder to understand at first, but for the most part you'll be alright. Beyond accents, the only real difference between countries is the use of different versions of you (usted, tú, vos, vosotros) and the way that affects certain word conjugations. Think about the difference between American English, British English, and Australian English as well as the various accents and unique words/phrases found in these countries. This is pretty much the same thing that happens with Spanish. Finishing this deck and learning Spanish will also make it easier for you to learn Portuguese later as it's almost the same language with a few key differences.
Some phrases in Spanish and English differ so you might encounter ways of talking that are unusual to you. For example, in English you would say "pay attention" but in Spanish you'd say poner atención (put attention). In this example, just like "putting attention" sounds wrong to you, "pagar atención" (the literal translation of pay) sounds wrong in Spanish.
By the same token, some words exist in English that don't have a Spanish translation, and some words exist in Spanish that don't have direct English counterparts. For this reason you might see a Spanish word that has one word as the English translation but then the example uses a slightly different word. This is to help you grasp all the ways a word can be used in Spanish.
Yes, the program includes certain common phrases of some of the Spanish speaking countries that you are bound to come across. Mainly from the more well known nations that an English speaker is likely to visit or come across a citizen of said place.
The price for the complete Spanish deck including the thousands of words, phrases and audios is just $50, a bargain compared to the hundreds or thousands of dollars total you can expect to pay in the language learning market. You can pay with credit cards, debit cards, paypal and even Apple Pay if you live in a supported area.
